Liam worked with Scottish Golf in 2022 and 2023 to deliver sales and marketing support for our affiliated clubs. The project was enormously popular and 86 clubs were awarded the opportunity to undertake the initiative. Liam’s knowledge and expertise of the sector enabled him to develop a comprehensive and bespoke plan for each club, and provide recommendations that fully considered available activation resources.Iain MacFarlane, Club Services Officer
Golf is part of the fabric of Fife and the game plays an integral role in supporting the regional economy. Liam has managed Fife Golf for a number of years and has overseen it’s development from a start—up to an internationally recognised golf destination brand. This has been achieved through targeted brand and product development initiatives, and the strong relationships he has built with providers operating in local, national and international markets.- Dave Kerr, Chairman, Fife Golf
Liam started working with Zest.Golf in it’s early stages, and his insights and knowledge enabled the technology and management teams to fully understand how the market operated. He also supported and managed brand development and marketing, and worked with the management team and third party suppliers to develop the investor pitch deck.- Ollie Dury, CEO, Zest.Golf
The impact of COVID on golf tourism in Scotland meant the industry demanded a strategy with a new focus. The unique knowledge Liam has of the extended B2B and B2C golf tourism industry in Scotland and overseas, meant he was ideally positioned to work with stakeholders and identify and bring the key elements together that enabled sectoral sustainability and growth. The outcome was delivery of a fully actionable and industry led document, that had true relevance for all stakeholders operating in the sector, regardless of role, type, size or customer profile.- Stuart French, Chair, Scottish Golf Tourism Development Group
